Sabudana Cutlets (Tapioca pearls): Sabudana is (Tapioca Pearls). Sabudana Khichadi can be eaten as breakfast and as a snack too. It is from Indian cuisine mainly eaten north India. It is a natural grain and Gluten-free. It is a good source of carbohydrates and low protein. But it high in vitamins. It is also used widely during fasting in India.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sabudana
- 2-3 small to medium potatoes
- 1 small onion
- Oil to fry
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Asafetida (Hing)
- 1 green chili
- 2-3 Garlic cloves
- 1 tbs Ginger graded
- 6-7 Curry leaves (*optional)
- 1/2 cup lightly ground peanuts
- 1 red dry chili pepper (remove seeds)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chili Cayenne (med or hot)
(As per your taste) - 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp mango powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (As per your taste)
- fresh cilantro for garnish.
About: It can be used for breakfast and snacks.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Take a cup of Sabudana and then wash it and then soak it in one cup of water. You can soak overnight if making for breakfast or 4-6 H in the day time. Wash the Sabudana and drain it with stainer.
Step 2
Boil potatoes and prepare the ingredients needed. Mix the strained Sabudana with boiled potatoes, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green pepper. Mix well add 1/2 cup of lightly grounded peanuts. Add all the spices and salt. Make small balls and press them.

Add oil in the deep pan for frying. Start frying the cutlets till golden brown.

Serve hot with cilantro chutney or which you prefer.
