Turmeric Milk (Haldi Doodh) also known as “Healing Spice”. It is an Ayurvedic practice and medicine in Indian cultures has great medicinal benefits. It is usually taken in night time helps in good sleep also.
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Sugar (as per your taste)
- 1 Pinch Saffron
- 2-3 Cardamom crushed
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder or fresh
Turmeric Milk (Haldi Doodh) is a yellow spice popular in Asian cuisine, which gives curry its yellow color.
Turmeric has been used for centuries due to its strong antioxidant properties which come from Curcumin an active component in turmeric.
Step by Step Instructions
Take a cup of milk in a pan
Add to milk Saffron, Cardamom, Sugar and Tumeric.
Let the milk come to boiling
Remove from the Stove.
You can serve hot or let it cool and drink per your taste.
